R.I.P. Gracie Lyn Torres

October 25th, 2010 was a very hard day at our home.  We had the most beautiful, energetic, happy, healthy, precious little 5 month old yorkie puppy named Gracie Lyn.  Gracie and I got up that morning like we always did and went outside to go potty, came back in, she had her two treats of the morning and we sat down for breakfast.  Gracie always showered me with kisses for a good 45 minutes of the morning while I sat on the floor, ate my bowl of cereal, read my morning emails and got my updates from facebook.  I would always say "Can I have kisses" and no matter what she was doing she would come RUNNING.  That morning I had to nanny, so we both went into the bathroom so I could get ready, she always waited for me to take a shower, put on my makeup, do my hair and she even always smelled like my perfume, cause she was at my feet when I put it on.  That morning she decided she was going to rip up my toilette paper, so we spend the morning cleaning that up.  I left around 9am and dad (Steve) usually gets up around noon.  He called me around 1pm that day and he said "Manda, I don't want to scare you, but Gracie is not responding to me".  I rushed home to find that God had taken Gracie a bit sooner than expected.  I held Gracie in my arms for a good hour, said I was sorry, I loved her and I will miss her very much.  I wrapped her in her favorite blanket and my sister came to get her, they burried her in there yard and Jordyn (my nephew) now says goodmorning to her everyday.  There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her and miss her, she was my BEST FRIEND.  We are thinking about getting another yorkie middle of January, but are hesitant because of baby coming, keep posted on the news of new puppy or not!

Carving pumpkins with friends, she was the highlight of the party!

Her little coat I bought her that she tried for hours to get off :)

R.I.P Gracie, you will be forever loved & missed!
